- We already have abandoned-cart flows, exit-intent, and SMS recovery.
- Keep them. Those tools recover the minority of abandoners who left contact info. Save That Cart works upstream, on the majority who never did. Different funnel position, different trigger, no overlap.
- Will this conflict with my popup tools or Klaviyo flows?
- No. Save That Cart doesn't touch your email or SMS tools, doesn't fire on their events, and doesn't need their data. It runs inside the cart, in the customer's browser, and applies the offer through Shopify's own discount system.
- What's the page-speed impact?
- The cart block is a small theme extension that loads with the cart. There is no site-wide script and no third-party tracker injected into your storefront.
- How do I know the numbers aren't inflated?
- Conversions are counted from a marker on the order itself, not from view-through guesswork. If you want proof the lift is real, turn the app off for a week and compare your own Shopify numbers. We'll help you set that comparison up.
- Do you collect my customers' data?
- No. Save That Cart stores your offer settings and anonymous totals. It does not store customer names, emails, phones, addresses, or browsing behavior. There are no customer-data scopes to grant at install, because we never ask for them.
- Won't this make us look like a discount brand?
- A one-time welcome for a first-time customer, inside the cart, reads as a brand that values new customers, not as a store on sale. Returning customers never see the offer, and there is no sitewide banner.
- Will it train customers to expect discounts?
- The offer is one-time and first-time only. A customer who buys can't earn it again, and returning customers never see it. There's no pattern to learn.
- Will it hurt my margins?
- The incentive goes to a customer who was leaving. That's a rescued order at a slightly lower margin, not a discount handed to a customer who would have bought at full price. Returning customers, your best margin, see nothing.
- We'd need to see results fast.
- Setup is minutes; the offer starts showing to first-time customers as soon as it's on. The 14-day free trial is designed for exactly this: run it on your real traffic, watch the dashboard, decide.
- What does it cost / is there a commitment?
- $20 a month, everything included, billed through Shopify. 14-day free trial. Cancel anytime. No commissions on rescued orders, ever.
