Privacy policy

This policy covers the website of The Click Collective (TCC Applications Inc., Winnipeg, Canada). It does not cover our Shopify apps: each app has its own privacy policy, available from its Shopify App Store listing, which governs what that app does with store data when installed.

The short version

This website is data-minimal by design. We collect an email address only if you give it to us (a waitlist signup or a support message), and we never sell or rent anything about you to anyone.

What we collect, and why

Waitlist email. If you sign up to be notified about an upcoming app (for example Inventory Holdout), we store the email address you enter, for one purpose: to email you when the app launches, and possibly once before. Nothing else. The address is stored with Klaviyo, our email service provider, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Support correspondence. If you email us, we keep the thread for as long as it's useful for helping you.

Server logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, keeps standard technical logs (IP address, request time, page requested) for security and reliability.

What we do not collect

No accounts exist on this site. We take no payments here. We do not collect names, addresses, or payment details, and we do not buy, sell, rent, or share personal information for marketing.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of providers to run this site, and they process data only on our behalf: Cloudflare (hosting), Klaviyo (waitlist storage), and our analytics provider once analytics is active. Our apps' providers are listed in each app's own policy.

Retention and deletion

Waitlist addresses are kept until the launch notification is sent, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first. Support threads are kept as long as they're useful. To have anything deleted, email us; a person will respond within one business day.

Your rights

You may request a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us at hello@theclickcollective.io. Where laws such as PIPEDA, GDPR, or CCPA apply, we honor the rights they grant; our legal bases are consent (the waitlist) and legitimate interest (operating and securing the site).

International transfers

We operate from Canada. Our providers may process data in the United States or other regions; each maintains its own security and privacy program.

Children

This site is a business tool directed at merchants and developers. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy; the date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be noted on this page.
